The Aldens are helping Grandfather prepare for Greenfield's Winter Festival by cleaning a statue of a Revolutionary War hero in the town square. When Violet finds a mysterious message in a photograph of the statue, the Boxcar Children have to find out what it means for the statue—and the festival.
